guest: i realize sarah palin fell victim to a prank phone call from a quebec radio station personality impersonating the president of france. of course in her defense it could be noted that he is quite a ladie's man. his wife is an actress easily 20 years her senior. maybe she knew it was a hoax, but kept him on the phone for 5 minutes to commence her self-defined role as senator mccain's international embassador, outreaching to canada?
i am in cincinnati this afternoon, and this county is traditionally heavily republican. obama is still speaking in columbus, two hours north of us. draw your own conclusions, but even this well in advance of his arrival there are people everywhere. had to park well away from my office, but the afternoon is beautiful, the mood is festive, and the atmosphere is positive. big rayyy, look very closely when the cameras begin to roll. there will be me, close to the podium, with the knuckles raw from knocking on doors. maybe i will give you a special wave. junkyarddog

correction: a few minutes ago i posted from my verizon voyager as guest, and i misspoke. the french president is old enough to be the father of his beautiful actress wife. it is awkward trying to post without a computer. dang, it is also awkward trying to post when this many people are milling about waiting for the candidate who may well become our next president. even the advance team from the secret service is less aggressive and more into the partylike atmosphere of the moment. think i might spend tonight in my downtown office, i have a shower and clothes for tomorrow. gotta remember to wave to my good friend big rayyy when the cameras kick in. ha ha ha ha ha junkyarddog

bigrayyy, i missed your last post because three people and a moderator determined that once again your noncompliance with reasonable standards of good taste and civility disqualified your comments from our consideration. this website is for women and for families. my faith is in the stars and stripes, not the stars and bars of the confederacy. racism is not appropriate, nor is character assassination or vulgarity. if you have something crude to say, say it to my face, privately. i have no reason to spoil my evening. my obama field representative once again will be my companion until the wee hours of the morning. she has taken a year off medical school to work with me, and her youthful beauty is exceeded only by the purity of her idealistic heart. we have left for cincinnati municipal airport, where obama will arrive after he finishes his cleveland springsteen concert. old friends from chicago now trickle in, some of whom i have not seen since high school. this race is squeaky tight, but win or lose our heads will be held high. perhaps i can have someone photograph me dancing with this beautiful woman, in between the technical support folks and the secret service advance team, whose devotion to safety for everybody has been outstanding. if i die the day after this race is decided, win or lose, i will die a happy man. may god save and protect this noble experiment we call america! junkyarddog

My apologies for offending any woman and families that may be in attendance... but let me ask you somethin', you holier-than-thou hypocrite---how offended will everybody be when your boy Omamamamam starts his re-distribution of wealth program while his wife eats $460 lunches at the Waldorf Astoria...

ON YOUR MONEY, YA' PUTZ!!!

a Little more caviar, Mrs Barack "God Damn America" Obammamamama man?

ray, i really though that your most revealing post came the other day when you put forward an excellent thesis supporting the proposition that masturbation cures medical misfortunes. so the way this looks from my perspective, your pathetic self sits home masturbating, while i am out and about having a vigorous life with real partners. sit home and feel sorry for your sorry self, or perhaps craft a new sheet to wear when you fantasy your confederates taking back power by force. hey ray, you still continue to show your yellow streak, instead hiding behind your computer. call me and arrange to stop by, perhaps we can "chat".....god, please let him take the first punch! ha ha ha ha ha junkyyarddog

Ray,how do you figure she was using our money. She`s not the presidents wife yet.Now she was either using her own or it was furnished by the campaign committee.I cant see how anyone could complain if it were Tax money after the friggin obscene amounts that Bush has let the rich steal from us.I mean christ the GOP just spent $150K for clothes for Palins crowd.

Jeez I can only imagine the sore losers there will be come wednesday. If McCain wins it wont only be sore losers. In 6 months there will a lot of sore winners. The GOP thought that Bush had just got off on the wrong foot his first term.So they reelected him.LOL Now I guess he used the other foot to put in their mouths.Boys if McCain wins you`ll look like the dumb of bunch of doofs that has ever lived & voted.Any you poor guys out there that think McCains going to save you even $10 next year are living in fools paradise. What is going to happen is your income will fall by a third or worse if you keep your job.Ray,your job playing the organ is likely safe. But trying to sell them is going to be a real task. When people tighten up on that collection plate you`ll see what I mean.

I saw you up on that podium Dawgie and couldn't help but notice how bright and sparkely your teeth looked... I guess you've been taking advantage of the "mineral delivery system" for quite some time now...

Nice to see you had you "neice" with you! Frankly though, I prefer a more mature (legal age) woman. Will you be attending her high school graduation?

btw---how'd you ever make out last weekend? Since I saw you post on last Sunday night I guess the "young" lady you spent all that money on didn't invite back up to her place... pity that!!!

ps---I understand that Nabokof is one of your favorite authors...

Michelle Obama, did not dine on lobster in New York on October 15. She was  giving a speech in Indiana.

The New York Post, which originally reported the fabricated story as true on October 17, has retracted its article. Darragh Murphy, the director of Puma PAC, has also retracted the flyer and apologized for perpetuating the hoax.

Michelle Obama was in New York on the evening of Oct. 15 to attend the final presidential debate but did not stay in the Waldorf-Astoria, according to the New York Post retraction. She left Indiana after her afternoon speech. The receipt is dated 4:04 pm, at which time Michelle Obama had not yet arrived in New York.

jyd... you, a lawyer, of all people, should know better then to make threats about causing bodily harm to another individual through intimidating posts on an internet chat site! I have instructed my lawyer to open a file and have printed out all your posts that can be construed thusly should any bodily harm befall me...

Besides which, I'm a sensitive kind of guy... y'know???

Good Lord... Ray and JYD...your pissin' contest is ridiculous. :(

Ego..your ability to cut through the BS and find the truth is pretty amazing! You certainly would be an asset to anyone in the public eye.

Pollie..I was thinking during the drive yesterday about the high emotion attached to this election. I too wonder about who will be crying and who will be walking around with their chests all puffed up. Many people are so emotional and my observation is 75% of that emotion is fear. I wish more had a stronger emotion of hope and excitement about the future. Everyone is already fearful of where the economy is and is headed. Then they seem to top that off with fear of which one will get in and what they will do "to" us not "for" us. I don't believe too many people are still "undecideds". I think their minds are pretty well made up and decision made by who will do the least damage. What I don't want to see is complete control by either party in the house/senate and presidency.
Very dangerous.

There will be no bragging from this poster. Even if my chosen person is elected...I will wait..holding my tongue to see if anything he said he would do ...truly happens.

tractor girl: i told you we were gonna miss your stabilizing influence and call for civility if you dropped outta sight, but you left town anyway. stay in touch! egotarian: appreciated is your willingness to remember that cold hard facts trump hearsay & innuendo. neither side benefits from cheaters who put out disinformation, it destroys credibility of entire campaigns. you and i sometimes disagree, but never challenge the premise that intellectual dishonesty is always inappropriate. i for one will be very happy when this election is over, regardless of winner.
