Thats a big damn storm.Covers most of the gulf. That surge has to spread as it hits the coast.Thats one hell of a squeeze.Liable see the tide go out in some areas up or down coast the come back like a sunami does. This bitch is dangerous.People aren`t taking this serious enough.

Finally I find y'all! I thought you guys had all gone off on a mission ;)
This forum looks great, you guys did a fantastic job.
Galveston is sure taking a beating; 4.5 million folks without power. It didn't really get to us in central Texas. Only thing it did was cause cancellation of the UT vs. Arkansas game. It's just as well tho, those razorbacks make a mess when they come to our fair little city.
Take care & Good luck to everyone here~

(this is Pollies and Goldie's personal boxing arena.) LOL!
Mighty "IKE" is finally starting to rustle the trees, in Dallas. We''ll have some rain and the winds should peak, this afternoon, around 50 MPH. East Texas, Arkansas and points North and East, clear to the Great Lakes, will have heavy rain.
The Hooters, in Galveston, got washed into the gulf. That's a tragedy.
