How can a man with your money stand to hobnob with the lowly peons.Your a man of stature. You pay more damn taxes than 95% of the politicans.Including McCain or Palin or Obama.

-polliesboy

I have to admit, conversing with you is something of a strain.

My gas meter is next to my driveway. I'd love to grab the hose and fill up, any time I wanted.

Should be someone in your area that knows about Conversion kits.Extra range can be added by adding an extra tank manifold & valve assembly. As many as you want.In comparison to gasoline it would cost you about $2 per gal or less to go the same distance. It cost you about 60% of what gas does per mile.Big damn saving, not to mention the cleaness of combustion chambers & portal equipment. On top of everything else its virtually green in emissions.

I noticed from my profile that it said that I was a member of Pollies Political Chat Forum. I don't remember signing up. Was this just something that we were all added to when we moved here? Not that I am complaining. i was just wondering what made me a member?

I dont know about being a full administrator, but there`s some here that think I`m full of something.I dont claim to be the bright bulb on the street, but am true to my opinions.I base mine on factual reading & current events now & in the past.Like I said its my opinion.Im not swayed by bullshit slogans or edited advertisement or inuendos. They`re a dime a dozen from both sides.I base mine on the issues addressed by a canidate in depth.Im a facts & figures man.Ive haven`t heard one damn figure from McCains camp, just vaguarities & generalizations. Not one damn hard fact of economics.I feel this is because he has no plan of changing Bush`s plans & policies. If he had any plan that sounded feasible, would he not be revealing it or is this just something else he`ll only share if elected. Why has he never shared none of this wisdom until he has one foot in the grave?

I go on about politics, but would much rather explore the possibilites of CNG.Now jst to prove one point.I back T.Boone Pickens whole heartedly. This man has more money than God & is a republicans. If he was 10 years younger & ran for president,I be the first man at the polls. He`s actually offering the people something. Its true reform despite he may make some big money on it.I think at this point he`s likely to never live long enough to realize any amount of profit, but that doesn`t deter him from trying to help America. He`s worth approx.$4billion ,so obviously doesnt need money. This is not about making money to him.Its about the greater need & good.He wants his country to be strong again. My point.Political affiliation is not my only motivation.

Drilling for oil helps us bridge some gap 10yrs or so down the line.Thats too damn long.CNG can be implimented in a much shorter period & Can sustain us for more than a hundred years at the least. Why not put this on the front burner. They want to drill for oil.Fine, but give us help now.CNG will also reinvigorate the American automotive industry.Service stations can be renovated to accomodate CNG in a matter of days per station.Heard my Dad talking about WWII Australia.Gas was ration much tighter there than in the U.S because they had to import their gas in those days. The thing I really remember was how they improvised. They all had a coal to gas convertor in the trunk. He said they had a little flame in the trunk.Im not suggesting we do this.I suggesting if we`re serious we can really put this thing on fast track & improvise with conversions until Detroit gets up to speed.Another thing that needs to be addressed is our fashion happy auto consumers. We pay throught the ass to retool for a new look each year & in a lot of cases the changes are just slight enough to make the interchanging of parts obsolete. This also causes the waste of vast amounts of natural resources of energy.Building in obsolesence should be against the law.Realizing how much extra energy is used to reclaim perfectly good steel parts is ludicrous.

Damn Stupid or Drunkards. Actually I saw one TV crew show some of the people that stayed carried off only one thing for their survival: A case of beer.
